Optimal Health Counseling, owned and operated by Katie LaRue, M.S., LMFT, CMC, is a thriving Northern California
health and wellness clinic specializing in alternative therapy modalities. 

 
The practice was booked to capacity with clients, limiting business growth as a sole proprietorship.

Optimal Health Counseling had hired a budget web designer who created the bones of the site. 
The existing rudimentary copy needed heavy editing and major improvements. 

The client wanted to revamp the site and expand it to include pages for
podcast appearances, guided meditations, and a blog.  

I wrote fresh, vibrant copy, redesigned the layout, and improved the UX, UI, and SEO.

I added pages for Podcasts, Guided Meditations, and the Blog, writing new copy for each.

The client was amazed at how quickly I nailed their carefully honed tone and style.

I wrote the blog to the magic 2,500-word length and included many links to reputable sources to establish authority.  

We also ramped up social media presence. OHC had been posting every two weeks.
We increased that to daily posts linking to the website.

The new site had a 2,800% increase in visitors month over month.
